Florida Law Enforcement
What is fitness?  According to Random House Webster's Dictionary, "fitness" is described as, "in good physical condition; healthy."  This isn't very specific, nor is it a helpful definition. I'm sure we all have our own idea of what fitness means. Let's try equating being fit as it relates to law enforcement.
Tips for the off season
Yes, a break from the athletic grind — whether it’s youth soccer, professional football drills, volleyball, or any other training — is well deserved, but taking the view that the off-season is part of the overall annual training cycle can pay big dividends when your sports season rolls around again in a few months.
Work Out, But know your Limits!

“I’M 39,” says the shirtless man on the TV commercial, “and I’m in better shape now than when I was a swimmer in high school.” He smiles and flexes his large, well-defined muscles, as the announcer extols the virtues of Insanity, the regimen he claims to have used to achieve this level of fitness. It is also, we are told, “the hardest workout ever put on TV!” View the full story online at  New York Times

UAI serves as the leader in biomechanics based sports performance training. Simply put, we use the best science, programs, equipment, and technology to ensure you have the best results.
UAI offers programs to reduce and hopefully eliminate heart disease, obesity, hypertension, and diabetes.

How does an athlete choose where they train and who they train with?  Is it the trainer’s education?  Certifications? Past playing history? Personality? Recommendations?  Cost? How cool the facility is?

They should choose based on results.  How are UAI’s athletes’ results? Best in the country.  Let’s start with the critical.  Athletes who trained with UAI always have the lowest incidence of injury.  How is that possible?  UAI has the most scientifically advanced training programs.  The programs comprehensively prepare each athlete by starting with a dynamic, neuromuscular warm-up designed to increase stabilization, reactivity, body temperature (related to flexibility), and muscle recruitment.  The warm-up also prepares the athletes for movement patterns and force output.

How do the athletes perform while training with UAI?  Simply put-they win.  It’s not enough for improvements in speed, power, strength, vertical jump, agility, reaction, quickness.  The athletes improve their game.  Movements get more efficient.  More refined.  More accurate.  They get less tired and they recover faster.

Don’t believe it?  Let UAI prove you wrong by making you better.
